All time favorite ratt song

What is your deep down, all time favorite RATT song? Not the biggest hit, or your favorite big hit. Not the most obscure song you can name to impress all the long time die hards..just your honest to god truth favorite exempt of RATT n roll.

Let's have some fun with this

My all time favorite is" between the eyes". The opening riff is mystical, deep, bluesy and asskicking heavy all at once. I also think it is one of Stephen's most powerful vocally.

Someone called into rockline couple year's ago when RATT were guests, and shared my sentiments for this song. They then asked every member of the band to comment on what they thought of the song. Stephen and warren were both huge fans and Stephen mentioned how he'd like to play it live again. I mentioned it to Stephen again at a meet and greet last year and he said that he loved that song and again stated he'd like to play it live.

Hopefully when they get back "in the cellar" in 2012 they'll add this to the setlist.

Wow-you know know it's so hard to choose one absolute favorite. Sometimes I'll go through phases where I enjoy one particular song more than others. But ultimately I'd have to say there are two, and I couldn't possibly choose one over the other. "Morning After" would be one. It was my first favorite, and when I saw them play it live on the Out of the Cellar tour, I was just so impressed! Second would be "Between the Eyes" cause it's sooo sexy!

Damn, this is a VERY hard question! NO band out there has as many good songs as RATT!

I really have to go with Dance because it's not only a KICK ASS song but a great video too with hot club sluts!!

But I also agree with you guys about what a great song "Between The Eyes" is and the AMAZING this is they never even released that song!! It should've been on radios all over the nation just like "Round and Round" was! "What You Give is What You Get" is great too.

The best 10 RATT songs are:

1. Dance 2. City to City 3. You're in Trouble 4. Wanted man 5. Between The Eyes 6. What I'm After 7. Round and Round 8. Lay it Down 9. Way Cool Jr. 10. In Your Direction

Jessica, have you seen the video for "Slip of the Lip"?

It's a cool video and it's on the 81/91 Ratt DVD.

All you guys need to listen to latest Pearcy radio interview. I posted the link in the Pearcy Facebook thread.

The interviewer asks Pearcy about "Giving Yourself Away" and he told Pearcy that he's always really liked that song. Then he asked SEP why don't they play it and why wasn't it one of their bigger hits?

Pearcy said it's all timing but he really likes that song and he co-wrote it with some Diane lady. I don't recall her last name. lol

Pearcy said he won't rule out playing that live. I agree that is a very good song and it's one of the few ballad type songs they did but then again RATT is not a ballad band and Pearcy's voice isn't really a ballad type voice anyway!

Can't Wait on Love (Pearcy/Demartini/Croucier/Blotzer/Crosby/Child)

When I first heard the Detonator album, this song blew me away! To me, it was the one that stood out from the rest of the album. I had it pretty loud and bam! It just blasted "Can't Wait on"!! While I'm listening to this awesome new song, I looked at the writting credits inside next to each song and I couldn't believe what I saw.The first and only RATT song that I know of that is credited by every (82-91 classic line-up) member of the band along with producer Desmond Child. To me, that just made the song extra special above the rest.
