Decibel Magazine is reporting that Carlos is out for May and being replaced by some Norwegian named Ted Skjellum. Truth or rumor?

I mean Carlos wrote songs on the new album, what's the deal?

First of all, great find on the article. Nicely done. Im lucky if I can find my left shoe in the morning.

Secondly, lets look at the reason. It says hes "tired" of playing some songs, and needs a bit of rest. Seattleratt, that comment right there is why your bullshit detector is going off.

There has to be some truth to it, or sites that post that info get slapped with cease and desist or worse, depending on the severity of the info.

So fellow fans, lets just play Devils Advocate for a minute. Lets say "something" happened. A fight, or Carlos was caught boffing Bobbies wife, WHATEVER.....In the midst of a cd launch, you do NOT want to jeopardize sales. So, we have DAMAGE CONTROL....

Personally? I think hes strung out on meds, prescription/whatever. And it caught up to him. Nows hes drying out.

seems to be a joke, apparently, they do look alike. also, heard Ratt on Eddie Trunk Monday night and they said nothing.

Uhhh.. Yeah.... this makes no sense. According to the article mentioned above, Carlos is tired of playing I want a Woman, Lovin' You...., and Nobody Rides for Free because they are "moderately pedestrian in nature". LOL! This is so ridiculous it has to be a joke. It's not as if they've been on this tour for half a year. It JUST started. He's supposed to sit out one month (which is about halfway over at this point) then he'll be refreshed and ready to jump back in to playing those "moderately pedestrian" songs for the tour of Europe and back to the states again?
Has anyone seen someone filling in for Carlos yet? This is too funny!

He did a pretty good job of hiding his discontent at the Baltimore show. It must have been the following night show in Springfield that put him over the edge.

As it turns out there may be some truth as Buck Owens has said "I have been talking with the band and we feel my style may bring something to the table". stay tuned!

Update! Buck will not be available to fill in due to undisclosed reasons.

I have a feeling this article was written by someone who is jealous at RATTs new found success with Infestation . There are alot of Haters out there with nothing to do But hate people who are succesful . Ratts New album is outstanding and this upcoming Tour will be their biggest and Best in 20 plus years.

but, hey...Ted-whateverthefreakkhisnameis-Skjellum....just got some good publicity for his freaky band.

He does look similar to Carlos though.

Good to know all is copacetic in the RATT camp. They have a big schedule ahead of them. Time to bring RATT back to the masses. RATT-n-Roll.
