Sometimes when you are so hyped up for something, like the new Ratt CD, it's easy to get let down. Well this is definately not the case with Infestation. This new CD is absolutely awesome from start to finish! This is a CD that could have followed Out of the Cellar easily. It is a throw back to the wonderful days of 80's hair bands. Stephen's voice is amazing still after all these years and Warren hasn't lost anything...he is still living up to his nickname "Torch" for sure. And the new addition of Carlos Cavazo was a pleasant surprise. He seems to fit like a glove into the fold of my favorite all time band. The Blotz is still pounding the skins just as timely and energetically as always and Robbie is holding down the bass as he has been for a while now with the Ratt Gang. The writting, the performance, the mixing....it's just all amazing. If you loved Ratt back in the day this is a must have and if you haven't had the pleasure of being a Ratt fan in the past...give this a listen! You won't be disappointed, I promise. I am glad to see an 80's band put out such a strong recording and hope tour dates are to follow. I know Stephen has had to have recent surgery and hope he is recovering well so the touring can begin. I am ready to see Ratt 'N' Roll live! Keep it up guys and please don't let it end with this CD...hope to see Ratt laying down tracks like these for years to come!

Forever a Ratt Fan

P.S. Hope Robbin is enjoying this one from above..we all still miss you "King"!

You could not be MORE RIGHT dude!! Infestation is the greatest album PERIOD by ANY band in 20 years!! My favorite is Eat Me Up Alive followed by Best of Me and Take a Big Bite.

You should hear the interview I posted of Stephen in the Stephen facebook thread. He just did a radio interview a few days ago. He sounds great. Just like he was in his 20s or 30s! And that's good to hear since he smokes a lot!

If you just look through that faceboook thread you'll see there is some turmoil in the band right now and Stephen is doing a solo tour. You can go to his twitter page and web page for updates. But he is confident that RATT will be back together by next year. I know it sucks but as fans we have to stick with them through thick and thin.

I don't know exactly who, if anyone, is at fault but it's hard to be mad at Stephen since he's such a WAY COOL guy! lol
