The whole band sounds great! ....and they pull it off with the same intensity live! Thanks for giving the world a new Ratt album that kicks some serious ass. We've been missing you. Now lets just get this younger generation turned on to Ratt 'n' Roll so that one day they will start putting out records that kick ass too!
melodic rock fans ,need i say more.what a fantastic piece of work!hey bobby blotz, your from the burgh area right, dve rocks(hahahahahahahaha whatever).not that i listen to the radio, it's the same crap everyday.so those of you(and i mean us,the melodic rock fans)that also love this cd as much as i do,listen proudly,no matter how old you are.RATT,many THANKS for the music.to the fans ,check out these out also and give a listen.winger-karma and IV,W.E.T.,hardline-leaving the end open.5 of thee BEST cds i've heard in the last few years.RATT-N-ROLL
I too have been a big fan since I first heard "Round and Round" in grade school. I've been lucky enough to have moved to LA and seen the band several times at the Key Club on Sunset since 1999 or so.
I am completely overtaken by how great this record is. Sonically, it is wonderfully heavy, and feels like the followup record to "Reach for the Sky." Every instrument is recorded and mixed so well, and it is obvious that a great deal of effort (and money) was spent on the production. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for putting in the effort. I have listened to the album nearly every day since it came out, and no matter what the drudgery of the day involved, the delicious chords of Warren's guitar puts a smile on my face every time. The songwriting is excellent, and the producer obviously did his homework, because it feels like something Beau Hill would have produced in the 80's. F-in Kudos guys!
.... And to the poor gal who I accidentally headbutted during "Eat Me Up Alive" at the 4/20 show, I'm really sorry. A big dude picked me up and threw me (because apparently LA is too cool to dance at a Ratt show). I'm really sorry, and I hope your jaw is okay.
First Ratt show I saw was in 86, when Poison/Bret Michaels opened for them in Reno, NV. Amazing. New album has that signature Ratt intensity and bad-ass sound. Keep it rockin gents.
Great job guys. New cd is awesome! You nailed it. Now, just come to Indy!
Infestation at #30! Great job! Should go all the way to Top 10. Can't stop playing this album on my iPod everyday.
I have been a fan of Ratt ever since my high school days when they seemed to be the only band that could empathize with frustration over high school girls. I saw them front row on the Reach for the Sky tour and look forward to seeing them in a smaller venue. Infestation seems awesome only though I have just bought it and only listened through once. I want some lyrics though that is my only complaint
Album full of good songs. Magic from the cellar again! Thanx to Stephen, Warren, Bobby. Robbie and now Carlos made the right choice. France is waiting for you on Hellfest Satday June 19th.
Infestation rocks! Thank you RATT for giving us this great album. It's playing everyday on my iPod together with Out of the Cellar, Invasion of Your Privacy, Dancing Undercover, Reach for the Sky and Detonator. Love it!
Memories never fade.....first off let there be Ratt N Roll again! NOT RAP N CRAP!!, Thank GOD I grew up in a generation where there was actual musical talent, What happened to the guitar solo in today's new bands these days? there are no bands/players that can play solos anymore... I heard the first track...DiMartini sounds great! Can not wait to blast real music around these R.ecycled A.udio P.rograms Zombies. I do however miss Rock concerts here in California.....Maybe today's music cannot fill them Hmmmmm.
