Invasion of your Privacy Live

I recently posted on the official facebook page how much many of us Rodents love Invasion of your privacy and that it deserves a live tribute the same way they did "Cellar" while touring in 2009.

There are just so many great songs that the die hards love that were basically created to be played in a live setting. As a younger Ratt fan, it would kill me to never be able to see Warren play the solo to "Give it all" or SEP's melody during "Between the eyes". Pretty much every song on that album is incredible and it's time it gets its due.

Even if they market it and only do it on 3-4 dates in larger markets, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd pay good money and travel a long way to see it. Bands like Steely Dan and Weezer have both done it this way with their more legendary albums and it has been extremely successful.

So who's with me? As rodent fans let's raise our voice to hear this masterpiece live and give it the tribute it deserves!

*Gotta give a shout out to poster All knowing force, who posted an interview he did with SEP in which he asked about the band performing Invasion.

I agree with that since "Invasion" is my favourite album!! awesome, love to hear "Never Use Love", "Between the Eyes" (with the spanish guitar at the end!!) and "What You Give Is What You Get", along "You're In Love", "Lay It Down", "Dangerous But Work The Risk"....

Dancing live would be amazing! For me the big song would be "Take a chance". It's one of the few songs in the "Atlantic catalog" that you can't find a live version of anywhere. I'm not sure they EVER played it live. It's a really unique song that I'd like to hear their interpretation of in a live setting.

On an earlier point regarding Weezer & Steely Dan doing larger select dates,Both bands played the cities multiple nights however different albums.

A Dancing Undercover tour would be the tour of the century! More than "Take a Chance" I'd love to hear "Dance" live since RATT hasn't played that live since 98! Plus it's my favorite RATT song! 2 FANTASTIC songs that don't get enough credit are "It Doesn't Matter" and "7th Avenue". Those would be KICK ASS live too!

Yeah I agree..There are alot of amazing songs on Dancing. 7th & Body talk are my favorites. I only mentioned take a chance b/c most other songs from Dancing can be heard live in some form via youtube.

It's a shame "Dance" is kind of the forgotten huge hit. However, the reason they don't play it is b/c Stephen hates singing it live..It's got a long winded vocal pattern that never really lets up except at the solo.

I actually asked Stephen about that on Twitter and he answered me. He's a very nice guy. He said the vocals and the range are such in "Dance" that it's hard to sing it live. I'm sure he meant there was a lot of studio work done in that song that's hard to replicate live.

BUT he said he won't rule out playing it in the future and he didn't have anything bad to say about "Dance". I told him to save it for the RATT tour. BTW, Stephen is more busy now than ever since he's working on Sucker Punch plus a new RATT album so he may not answer as much.

He and Warren are also involved in a project with David Grohl from Nirvana & the Foo Fighters.

I gotta give Stephen credit as well. He never used to respond but the last 3 times I've tweeted to him, he has responded within a week. Maybe we should start a "ratt twitter" thread..Stephen provides alot of great info and insight. He is indeed a good guy.
