Juan Croucier: Nothing has changed and they can't contain the problem.

=Upscope said:I have to disagree w/ you BigRattFan....I saw Juan perform 2 yrs ago & he looked great. Like most everybody he may have put on a few lbs over the yrs but is far from obese. His voice was great & his stage performance was very solid. If there's something that I've learned about Juan over time it's that when it comes to his music he is a perfectionist. He gives 100% @ all times & demands the same from his bandmates. Ratt could use that type of leadership right about now. No disrespect to Robbie @ all because he has done an amazing job w/ Ratt but I have a feeling that if Juan were to ever become a member of Ratt again he would end UP being the glue of band.

Upscope, you could be right. I'm just basing it on a recent pic on his page. Since when is Juan a lead singer??

I agree Juan is important but if you had to rate the importance of band members no one can deny Pearcy is MOST important and I bet all of us would say DeMartini is #2.

You could maybe make the case that Croucier is more important than Blotzer. Drummers don't usually write a lot of songs so I would guess Croucier has done more songwriting than Blotzer but it's mostly Pearcy and DeMartini like it's always been.

Upscope - Agree on the Juan comments, and he could also be the designated representative of the band for interviews and promotions, something that (IMHO) has been sorely missed over the years...I won't go into details but he comes across as the most level headed and well spoken of the bunch.

What about Warren? He's always seemed to have a good head on his shoulders too.

If you listen to Pearcy radio interview I posted Pearcy comes across as very level headed and WAY COOL!! The interview is on Pearcy's newly redesigned website. It looks much better.

SEP does sound pretty good in that interview...he's had his ups and downs over the years, but seems to really have his act together now.
