Being a huge ratt fan my whole life I am very depressed after reading the latest stephen pearcy interview on noisecreep. Many bands would kill for the amount of support ratt fans give this band and to have a huge album as good as infestation at this point in there career is almost unbelievable. Bobby should never have released his book until the band was completly over. The single Eat me up alive without a question should have been the first single and has now been released on radio which should help sell more albums. Lost weekend for some reson is not being played live and that is a huge mistake . That is a great song and people need to hear that one. What I have a hard time understanding is the amount of time and effort it must have taken to make this record and also to get this band back together. You guys have come to far to quit on this tour and on this record. You may never get this chance again to do this at this level. You guys need to have a meeting right away and fix this problem. All I ever read is the problems are complex. I think it is simple . You have fans out there that love your music and a great album to support. Find a way to get along and stop cutting each other down. Each member of this band is equally important to this bands success.

I see that I am not the only Ratt fan that is blown away by hearing things are going sideways in the ratt camp again.just after they release their best album in 25 years , i havent read a single negative article about investation. other 80s bands release new material and its sucks. motley crue, Guns and Roses , I could go on and on. Ratts Investation is the best release by any of the Los Angeles bands in years . tell me I am wrong. and now things are blowing up again only 4 months after its release just sucks. sorry but i had to rant.

These problems go way back to the 80's. I dont think any of them were ever really resolved. Definately Bobby's book should have come out at a later date and he does bash quite a few people, but thats rock and roll!! It is truly a shame that they are going to call it quits so soon. I have heard that they need a break. Maybe so, but all the negativity does not help. I feel no matter how bad it is within a band, we as fans shouldnt even be hearing any of it. We the fans have made them the stars they are today. Without us, well, enough said....They play great music, and we still enjoy it.
I also hope they can get their lives in order and get along. But we dont live with them on the road every day or have to deal with the things they do, so who are we to judge.....

I'm not sure they said they're officially breaking up. Sounds like they're taking a "break" after the tour ends. Pearcy mentioned this in a recent interview. I take it as a good sign that things aren't so bad that they had to end the tour. I really hope they get it together and are able to take a couple months off and then get back out there with another album and tour in the spring. What we fans have going for us in that the album sold well and the tour did well, so hopefully that motivates them to stay with it.
