Ratt2001 said Stephen is not getting his fair financial share from the band. Is that true??

NO WONDER he's pissed off!! Pearcy is RATT for pete's sake!! Without Pearcy the RATT sound is gone forever and you guys KNOW it!!

HOW could Blotzer the blockhead be denying Pearcy his fair share of band proceeds?? If this is all true then I can totally understand why Pearcy is so pissed and he is NOT the one at fault!!

DeMartini seems to be the most level headed guy in the band so you would think he would make sure Pearcy gets his fair share!!

Okay, so let's recap, and get everyone on the same page : Bob and Warren own the Ratt name (this is fact, but what follows is speculation), and we can only assume everyone else in the band is a hired gun. So basically Stephen doesn't have much say in what happens to the band, and he isn't enjoying the same paycheck for his efforts. Ratt is Stephens baby, so he's probably frustrated and wants to renegotiate himself back into the partnership. Personally, if this is the case, I can't blame him, but I'm on the outside looking in.....I'm sure it's much more complicated than we all understand.

From a fans perspective, as others have noted above and in other threads, it's getting to the point that it's embarrassing to be a Ratt fan. Infestation was so good, only to be crushed by the bickering and all the other buzz kills. Missing out on the MC/Poison tour....ouch. Motley previously said they wouldn't let Ratt open, but they said the same of Poison, and here we are (this is what management does, they make these things happen). Things were ripe for a good summer tour package, I think most fans would like to see Ratt over the New York Dolls.

At first glance, I thought this was all just Stephen and his LSD acting up again. But
when I read on here that he has been sober for a year, I had a completely different
perspective. Its been clear for awhile that one of the band's shortcomings was Stephens
Constant partying and specifically drinking. If he has taken steps to correct this long time
issue..it is obvious his mind is in the right place and he wants what's best for RATT. If Stephen has no
legal ownership within the group that is a problem.

I believe one of the things that made RATT great is that all 5 original members added some unique to the table that gave the band its swagger.RATT is not RATT without warren's shredding,bobby's brashness.. and so on. What Stephen brings is what holds it all together...arrogance and rasp. And the band cannot survive without him. He deserves to be apart of the principle ownership. Its time to put the bullshit aside and realize the opportunity this band has. There's no way they can be content with the legacy of being a" throw in mention" after poison and crue. Not only are they superior musically and image wise..they were also just as big as those guys in the 80s.

I recently wrote a letter to each individual member of the band. I made them aware of how the fans feel. That's its none of our business what the issue is..and that we understand the" financial" aspect is important. But
Also how much fans of this band love them. We celebrate them like a sports team and that they are" our band". As it stands right now the" team" is more like the Washington generals than the Harlem globetrotters. But that they are control of changing that reality. I suggest every other fan do the same thing..let's make our feelings known

BigRattFan.....back in '92 when Ratt was under contractual agreement w/ their label & mech company Stephen UP & quit the band leaving them to pay back advances & such on their own. They couldn't work & make $$ w/o Stephen so Juan feels that it was Stephens fault that they were forced to pay back the $$ (presumably $150K each). During the '07 reunion negotiations it was rumored that Juan would re-join if Pearcy paid him (or worked off) the $150K back that he felt Pearcy cost him

Upscope, the part that doesn't make sense is if Pearcy gets a third of every dollar RATT makes then he already is an equal partner so what's the problem?? Does he want the superficial thrill of knowing he owns 1/3 of RATT on paper again?? As long he gets a 1/3 of all the money WHO CARES??

It also seems strange that Warren doesn't want to give Stephen back his 1/3 of RATT. Warren seems like the most level headed guy in the band but I could be wrong.

Are you saying Warren quit the band too in 92?? Or are you saying he wrote a letter on behalf of Pearcy saying Peacy was quitting? That is not Warren's duty to do so why would he do that?? Stephen already wrote a letter to management and that should've taken care of it back then.

With all this going on HOW did the band get together to make Infestation?? It sounds like they got Stephen to come back by offering him a third of every dollar right? If Pearcy is still getting a third of every dollar then what's the problem?? As long Pearcy is getting his fair share, which it sounds like he is, he should be with RATT!!

It sounds like Juan got totally screwed out of his share of RATT right? He didn't get compensated for his share did he? As far as giving their advances back in 92 when Stephen quit Stephen would ALSO have to give his advance back you know?

He could've easily been sued if he didn't give it back.
