What do you have?
July 22, 2011 3:41:17 AM UTC Post #1

So far from RATT I have:

Out of the Cellar (CD) Invasion of Your Privacy (CD) Dancing Undercover (CD) Reach for the Sky (CD and cassette) Detonator (CD) Ratt & Roll 8191 (CD) Collage (CD) RATT (1999) (CD) Infestation (CD)

The only thing I am missing, besides other compilations that aren't necessary, are Ratt (EP) (which is soon to be re-released, I hope) and Ratt - Videos From the Cellar: The Atlantic Years DVD.

So what do you have from RATT?

I have:

Out of the Cellar Invasion of Your Privacy Dancing Undercover Reach for the Sky Detonator Ratt 81/91 Infestation

All the above are on CD. I also bought MP3 copies of Eat Me Up Alive, Best of Me, and Take a Big Bite on Amazon.com

I have Ratt the Video and Detonator the video on VHS. I have the Ratt 81/91 on DVD which I watch regularly!

My favorite RATT videos are:

1.Dance 2. Round and Round 3. Way Cool Jr. 4. You're In Love 5. Lay It Down 6. You Think You're Tough (All the other rock stars in it) 7. Wanted Man 8. I Want a Woman 9. Nobody Rides For Free (It's not on the DVD but on the CD. Robbin should be in it!!) 10. Shame Shame Shame

Dylan, HOW did you get Pearcy to respond to you on Twitter?? They have to FOLLOW you to respond to you and those that follow Pearcy have their questions and statements show up on his Twitter page but I've never seen you. Pearcy doesn't know us so he wouldn't follow us. He's got almost 4,000 followers!

You don't have to follow someone on Twitter to get @mentions. He's responded to me about 4 or 5 times now.

Dylan, what exactly did you do on Twitter to get Pearcy to respond?

I just replied to a tweet of his and I checked my account and it confirmed I sent a tweet @StephenEPearcy.

That should work right? Is that what you did?

Yeah, exactly. You just send a tweet to @StephenEPearcy and he'll be able to read it. Now if he replies to it or not is totally up to him.

Hey I got an answer from him! I'm Megafauna2 and he answered me when I asked him WHEN is going to add more dates to his Metal in America tour. But Dylan I checked the list of the tweets a while back and I didn't see him answering your tweet. Where is it?

Why don't you go ahead and list your favorite top 10 RATT videos? You were right with the name of the DVD. It's called Out of the Cellar: The Atlantic Years of whatever not RATT 81/91 DVD.

1. You Think You're Tough 2. Round and Round 3. Way Cool Jr. 4. Slip of the Lip 5. Lovin' You's a Dirty Job 6. Lay It Down 7. You're In Love 8. Dance 9. Shame Shame Shame 10. Best of Me

Hey my RATT brother thanks for clearing that up. I've already gotten 2 respones from Pearcy and I sent you a twat too! LOL I sent Pearcy another question and waiting for a response.

Dylan, we are both part of the RATT pack so we know RATT rules but I thought I'd just throw in some constructive criticism of your top picks. Don't worry. It's all in good fun.

1. I can see why you picked You Think You're Tough. It's a very unique video with Pearcy driving around and other rock stars in the video plus the Marilyn Monroe look alike. LOL. It's a good song too although I wouldn't have picked it as the best RATT video but that's just me.

2. I picked it as number 2 too! All time RATT classic and stilll their most popular song although I don't think it's their best song.

3. Way Cool! Song and video both are AWESOME!! Those funky brass horns!

4. I'm kind of bewildered by this pick but the video is better than the song. Not that it's a bad song at all. It's a nice song.

5. I disagree here because I never really like this song that much but you may like it and that's fine!

6. Kick ass MEGA powerful song! I just heard that on my MP3 player again after a long time and I realize how great the song is! Great video too! It's even better live! At least it was when I saw them in 2000.

7. The best live RATT video out there! Totally f*cking ROCKS!!

8. This is the only pick where I VEHEMENTLY disagree my friend! I don't see how any RATT couldn't say Dance is in the top 5 RATT songs ever! It's such a high energy kick ass song full of power, rhythm, beat, and melody! The video is so fantastic too that when you turn it up your head almost EXPLODES!!

9. Great song and probably the best song on Detonator.

10. It's a great song but you were only supposed to pick videos from the Out of the Cellar:The Atlantic Years DVD>

Oh, I see. If I had to replace "Best of Me" for one from the DVD it would probably have to be "I Want a Woman". That was one of the first videos I saw from RATT on YouTube and I really enjoyed it. It may not be in my top ten songs but I really enjoy the video.

Update: I just got Ratt (1999) CD in the mail. Now I have every Ratt CD besides the EP! Next is to get the DVD.

Dylan, a great song you should hear that doesn't get that much attention (or ANY attention) is Hard Time.

It's on Detonator and it's just a great song! I would probably rank it in my top 20 fave RATT songs and that's really saying something because you know there are TONS of great RATT songs!
